Fine Arts Year Round CoursesThis is our largest & most popular course!Students attend this class once a week and are introduced to all media, such as: Sketching, Watercolor, Acrylics, Charcoals, Pastels, Clay Sculpture, etc.... They will learn different techniques, application of many media and understand the tools of the Arts. Classes are 1-1/2 hours long and are taught by our talented, nurturing teachers. All materials are included. These are year round programs, and can be started any time during the year. Ages 5-7, 8-12, and 12-16 Tuition: $94 per month. Siblings $78 per month. Open Studio Night for TeensDrawing, Painting, Sculpture, Mixed Media. Choose which media you would like to learn. Mondays 5:00-6:30PM Beginning & Intermediate DrawingThese courses will include exploration of technique, skill and tools using both classical and creative approaches to drawing. Students will learn perspective, contour, gesture drawing, rendering of form, shadow, lighting and shading. Students will work with charcoals, pencils, graphite, ink, pastels, and watercolor. HomeschoolFine Art ProgramsThese unique hands on programs are designed to introduce students to a variety of Art media! Acrylics, watercolors, graphite, charcoal, sculpting, etc.... Let's Get Growing!A fabulous home school gardening class at the Children's Creative Art CenterOur new organic gardening program will have kids building a garden from the ground up. With exciting, hands-on activities for your mini-farmer, we will grow food, flowers and fun all at the same time. Each season offers new opportunities to explore how a garden grows while composting, starting seedlings, digging, designing, and making whimsical garden art. This integrated curriculum meets content standards for grades 3-5. What skills can your child grow in the garden?
The garden is a perfect environment to inspire artistic and written expression while giving children the opportunity to create their own world. Art Classes for Children:Art, Music & MovementIntroduction to the Arts for 3-5 year oldsThis exciting creative course is offered for the 3-5 year old Artist. The young students will explore their senses in a warm and nurturing setting while learning to work with watercolors, acrylics, clay and many other art media. They will also have adventures in drama, dance and movement, plus, explore music with percussion instruments and singing. Language arts will be introduced in this fun, unique program, as children enjoy social interaction and making new friends. Join us for this fabulous course! Call the Center for class availability. Tuition: $98 per month Pee Wee PicassoCelebrating the creative spirit of the 3-5 year oldThis unique program has been designed to incorporate a distinctive harmony of the arts including visual, musical, cultural, botanical, environmental, dramatic and language arts. Our next program commences on September 5, 2007 and ends May 29, 2008. This program has limited space and requires early registration! Please call the Center for registration information. Linda will give private 1 hour lessons in sketching, acrylics, watercolors, or oils. Sculpt an incredible "Bunny
Cottage" and all of it's inhabitants using sculpey, model
magic and Navajo clay. This work of art will be enhanced with
a variety of mixed media and colorful acrylic paints. What a unique
display for Easter! Then paint a stunning picture
of a "Spring Meadow in Bloom". This painting will be
on a large canvas and ready to frame. There will be even further fun art activities including: Cartooning, Scratch Art and Printmaking.

Field trips are scheduled for 1 hour, 15 minutes. Cost: $16 per person (10 person minimum) Paint a Tile for The Art Center WallEvery first and third Friday of the month 2:00PM-5:00PM.Paint a beautiful 4"x4" tile that will be fired and placed in our creative new wall! (Just like at the Galleria Shopping Mall.) 1 tile $25. Siblings and more $20 each. Don't miss this fun opportunity to have your art on permanent display! All proceeds go toward the scholarship fund.
